Hourly Consulting/Coaching
Starting from $200/hour, depending on the scope and complexity of the project.
Developmental Editing
Full novels start at $0.06/word for developmental editing. This includes manuscript commentary, a full editorial letter breaking down places improvements can be made such as characterization, plot, worldbuilding, pacing, etc., and a 1-hour consult with Stacy to answer questions.
Project fees typically range from $3,000 for shorter works to $7,500+ for full-length novels, based on manuscript length, genre, and depth of work required.

Copyediting
I do limited copyediting as time permits. Your manuscript must have gone through at least one round of developmental editing and line editing before I take on a copyedit. I do not include developmental editing with copyediting—these are wildly different stages of the editorial process. If you would like a developmental edit, which looks at the big picture of your manuscript, please see Developmental Editing above.
Critiques
If you’d like a sample of what it’s like to work with me on your manuscript, I can critique one chapter! $100 for a critique of up to 2500 words, and it should be the first chapter of your manuscript.
I can also critique your cover letter/query for submission.
