Change of title

You might notice some changes happening in my bio below my posts, on my About Me page, and on my social media sites. I’ve already mentioned it on Facebook, but I thought I’d better note it here, as well. For the last three years, I’ve been editorial director of Tu Books, focusing on the editorial … Read more

Logistics of New Visions due to Hurricane Sandy

I have just weathered the hurricane in relative style—thankfully, my neighborhood came out relatively unscathed compared to other places. I still have power and internet (mostly, though some flickers), and I live on high ground. A friend and I just took a walk around the neighborhood, and the worst most of us got here were … Read more

New Visions Award–deadline approaching!

Without giving too much away, I’ll say that … Read more

Blogging at CBC Diversity this week and last

Though I am frenetically working to get some fall ARCs out to the printer, making me absent here despite having a computer at home again (and friends coming into town last week and this weekend has made me busier than normal at home, too), I was able to write a couple posts over at the … Read more

Someone’s comfy

I am having more (of the same) computer issues.  At least my new phone works (kind of.  Apparently hulu plus stopped supporting Galaxy Nexus?  If so, I may be returning the phone for that reason alone). In the meantime,  have a Mogget picture.
